I remember planning my first trip to London like it was yesterday. My dance partner and I were going out there for a ballroom dance competition. Then after the competition we were going to stay there for an extra week so that we could take lessons from some of the top teachers in the world. Our coaches actually own a flat out there and we would be staying there. They stated that there is a train station just a block away, so that it would be silly to rent a car. They also said that we would be able to find some reasonable Taxi Fares in London in case there were a few places that were not easily accessible by public transportation. We really ended up having a great time on this trip. We did end up using taxis a bit more than we thought we would, but we also were not too surprised by it either since we are used to driving everywhere.
